Damn! Despite my tireless efforts, it seems the influence of the BEAGLE continues to grow, and her quest to literally devour the world whole remains largely undiscovered and unopposed.
Why am I the only who who can see? Has the rest of the world been struck blind?
I received a taunt in the form of a postcard from the Beast, who seems to delight in mocking my meager efforts to stop her plans of apocalyptic destruction. But the creature was sloppy, and left an important clue; some rudimentary internet research regarding the postmark has paid an unexpected dividend, in that I believe I've discovered the Godless pit from which my enemy spawned that fateful night nearly a decade ago...

Carrion's problem is that he can't see the forest for the trees, or perhaps the beagle for the fleas. He has been distracted from the real evil in the world by the minor annoyance of the beagle. Were he to look around and see the signs, he might realize that true evil is more subtle.
